Why the wall
There is something quietly powerful about a photograph on the wall. Unlike images buried in a phone, a framed memory becomes a daily presence: a familiar face greeted each morning, a story told simply by walking through a room. And there is a bonus: a frame does not only keep the moment, it brings warmth and character to the room around it.
Three ways to frame
A traditional passe-partout: an extra layer of artistic acid-free paper with a hand-cut 45-degree bevel opening. It adds depth and elegance around the photograph, and keeps the print surface from touching the glass.

A cotton rag print with hand-deckled edges, sitting inside the passe-partout opening rather than beneath it. The subtle gap around the print leaves every hand-torn detail on show. Square or rounded corners.

No mat, and no visible mounting. The print appears to hover weightlessly inside the frame, surrounded by air on every side: a contemporary, gallery-worthy presence that draws the eye straight to the image.

What goes inside
Every frame is built around a print made by our own print team: photographic paper, fine art pigment, or fine art torn by hand for a deckled edge. The paper decides how the picture reads across a room long before the moulding does.

Framing is a brand-new chapter for KISS, so the collection of mouldings and sizes is intentionally small. We see that as an opportunity, and we would love your input.
